Practicing, learning or teaching yoga in any style, from anywhere will invite peace, happiness, health and prosperity into your life.
We recommend that you have a minimum of 1 year practicing yoga, participating in 3 to 5 classes per week or equivalent self practice. You don’t need to know how to do any inversions, arm balances or advanced postures
Yes, TTC is like planting a seed in your mind which will emerge as a huge tree as the time pass. Only thing you need is to nourish the seed every day. Remember that when you will be teaching and helping others, the knowledge that you will get is more valuable than years of practicing and studying
There is no prior need of any knowledge or practice of yoga. However, it’s always good to have some previous experience. TTC will guide you about your practice and teaching. Remember that is not about the quantity of time you spend in your practice, it’s about the “quality”.

Yes, all bodies are not created equal so you are not expected to be able to do all the postures. Modifications are given/taught for all levels of asanas.

Not more than 12 students
Unless you have a serious illness or medical emergency, you are expected not to miss any classes. If you do, you will be given make up assignments which will be determined by the teacher(s).
Yes, we provide a welcome kit equipped with a manual, kriya set, notepad, pen and basic supplies needed for the course.
All meals (except Sundays) are included in the course fee. Different accommodation packages are available and are considered separate from the course fee. Refer to Accomodation & Food section of this website.
You need a tourist visa. Some countries have visa on arrival, which is valid for one month. In other cases you need to apply to the Indian Embassy of your country. Make sure you apply at least one month before your travel date, because in some countries the process of getting the visa can be longer. You will have a tourist visa for 3 or 6 months.

We advice not carry a lot of medicines. Everything in India is available and in less price. Just carry medicines which you use regularly. We have a first aid kit and a doctor is always nearby!

Goa is easily accessible by plane, train and bus.
Dabolim International Airport (GOI) is the closest airport and is approximately 90 minutes away by taxi. GOI Airport is well connected by daily flights from Chennai, Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Cochin and Bangalore.
You can also reach Patnem by train. The nearest station is in Canacona, although main train services stop at Margao station (approximately one hour away).
Canacona bus stand is 15 minutes from our school and buses from Mumbai and Bangalore are available for Canacona.
Your airport shuttle pick up is included in the package.
You can walk to the Agonda beach in just 02 minutes, gentle ride to Palolem beach in just 15 minutes. You can also hire a moto to enjoy the freedom to easily visit further afield.
It is not recommended that you drink tap water anywhere in India. At Ruh Yoga we provide filtered water at all time
There is no laundry services provided by us, but we can arrange the same on request.
It is just 5 minute’s walk to an ATM. Also plenty of travel agents and money exchange places in Agonda, Patnem and Palolem. We too can help you with the currency exchange.
We recommend you carry enough cash for your travel expenses. There are a lot of ATMs and money changers nearby. If you are carrying your own currency, you can exchange in Goa airport or in Agonda, Patnem or Chawdi. The exchange rate is better in the market than the airport. We too can help you with the currency exchange.
Vaccines are not compulsory but advised. You have to consult with your doctor about the vaccines that you need to take before coming to India. Below page you can find details.
