The practical training includes different styles of Surya Namaskar including Hatha, Ashtanga, and Power Yoga with proper alignment, breathing, modifications, and variations. Students will work on standing postures, backbends, seated asanas, hip opening, twists, arm balances, and inversions while learning safe techniques, sequencing methods, and the art of creating effective Hatha and Vinyasa Flow classes for 30 and 60-minute sessions.
The course also covers Pranayama, Shatkarmas (yogic cleansing techniques), and hands-on teaching practice from Day 2 in small groups to build confidence and teaching skills. Week 1 focuses on standing asanas and Hatha Yoga teaching, Week 2 on backbends, seated postures, hip opening, and Vinyasa sequencing, Week 3 on inversions and arm balances, and Week 4 on revision, self-study, and preparation for final teaching assessments.
